Disney+ closes historic partnership with Seriella and bets on Brazilian productions
Disney+ announces a historic agreement with Seriella, marking a new chapter in the expansion of original content in Brazil and across Latin America. The contract covers a broad slate of premieres and scripted series to air simultaneously with RecordTV, strengthening the presence of national productions on a global platform.
The deal makes every premiere available on Disney+ simultaneously with RecordTV, giving audiences immediate access on both broadcast TV and streaming.
It also reinforces the platform's commitment to supporting and elevating Brazilian storytelling, broadening its international visibility.
With this move, Disney+ doubles down on original content produced in Brazil, expanding catalog diversity and consolidating Seriella as a long-term strategic partner.
“Seriella is a partner we're deeply proud of. We believe in the potential of their productions, which combine artistic quality, technological ambition, cultural relevance and mass appeal. This agreement strengthens our strategy of delivering local content with global reach.”
